Q: WHAT IS YOUR QUALITY GRADING STANDARDS?

Enamel pin production is a long and delicate process and there are often defects in a small percentage of the final batch. At Nakama Pin we take pride in having strict standards for our pin quality grading system. 

  • A Grade: The best of the batch with minimal flaws, if any. Free of any major defects but may have tiny flaws that can only be seen upon extremely meticulous examination. 
  • B Grade: Usually have one or more small but noticeable defects such as scratches, pin pricks, misprints, etc. These are good for budget collectors since they will always be on sale at a discounted price. 
  • C Grade: These have remarkable flaws that will be immediately noticeable. Examples include wrong colors, missing enamel, deep scratches, etc. You will never receive this from us.

Pre order / pre sale pins will always be A grade.

We do not take any custom requests as of now, but feel free to make any suggestions on our instagram page!
